Though ITRANS has the ability transmitting attachments with claims, at this time software vendors and claims processors are not capable to receive them.For providers, the core benefits of the ITRANS service are: peace of mind through security; savings of time and money and improved office efficiency.
For insurers and TPAs, the core features of the ITRANS service are: duplicate and error reduction; end-to-end secure transmission and, increased support and visibility into the transmission process. The ITRANS Service would provide insurers and TPA’s with: cost savings, privacy compliance, improved customer service.
